ABOUT ME
As a trained artist (HTBLVA Graz-Ortweinschule für Bildnerische Gestaltung, Graz, Austria) Marion Genser has been creatively active for many years. She spent 10 years in Berlin as a 3D art director and self-employed artist acting in 2D and 3D. For the past seven years she has been calling Vienna her home. She lives and works now in the Hudson Valley in New York and is an active band member of the alternative Rock band 'Mercury Rev'.
Most recently, she has been working on projects that visualise fears and desires. Technique: Acryl. In addition, she also prefers the Cinemascope format, as it creates a particular sense of excitement and expresses the yearning harboured within the cinema screen. In addition to her self stimulated creative output she is also acting as a commission painter.
